A truly international festival, Little Big Shots includes over 90 films from 25 countries as far-reaching as Russia to Argentina, Estonia to Bangladesh and Finland to South Africa. Festival director, Chloe Boulton believes, “The festival is the perfect way for kids to see great stories from all over the world that would never otherwise make it to Australia. The themes and ideas covered in the films are incredibly engaging and relevant to the lives of all children.”
Little Big Shots has become its very own not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing the media literacy of young people, fostering children’s creativity and showcasing the very best in filmmaking for, by and about kids.
Little Big Shots is now Australia’s major stand-alone kids’ film festival - a niche Australian event. With its focus on short films for kids plus plenty of competitions and opportunities for involvement, Little Big Shots is one of the year’s most exciting experiences for kids.
